This is a unique opportunity to learn about the Rules of the Game with practicable, on course, ”hands on” situations with some of the leading experts on the Rules. This is a unique concept to get in touch with the Rules of Golf. This will be a day long exercise at no cost to Junior Golfers and Students. We will learn how to use the Rule Book and then go to the course for multiple stations and thoroughly work through the most common situations and mistakes in dealing with the Rules of Golf. This event is also open to adults that want to sharpen up their Rules of Golf knowledge for a minimal charge.
Schedule of events:

7:00AM – 8:00 AM Registration and group assignments
8:00 – 9:00 AM Introduction and How to use the Rule Book
9:00 – 10:00 AM On course Rules station (one of six)
10:00 -11:00 AM Second of six on course stations
11:00 – 12:00 Third of six on course stations
12:00 – 1:00 PM LUNCH (complimentary to students)
- Instructors will be available for Q and A during lunch
1:00 -2:00 PM Return to course for Fourth of six on course stations
2:00 – 3:00 PM Fifth of six on course stations
3:00 – 4:00 PM final on course station
4:00 wrap up with optional question and answer opportunity.
This event is free to all juniors but they must register in order to attend.
Accompanying Adults are a $10 Charge

Rules Registration Information


Rules in Brief:

·         Open to boys & girls age 7-15 competing in four age categories:  ages 7-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15.

·         Participants will be grouped based on their age as of the championship final on Sunday, April 5, 2015.  Proof of age will be expected should the competitor advance to regional qualifying.

·         Participants may register to compete in only one local competition.

·         All competitors must be amateurs.

·         Clubs and golf balls used must conform with the Rules of Golf.

·         Entry fee:  $0.00.  It’s free!



·         Each participant will compete in three skills hitting 3 drives, 3 chips, and 3 putts.

·         Participants will accumulate points in each skill.  The participant with the highest number of accumulated points will be declared the Overall Champion of his/her age category.

·         1st, 2nd, & 3rd places will also be recognized within each skill.
